The Gender and Social Justice Student Society

The Gender and Social Justice Student Society (GSJS) is an undergraduate student society affiliated with the GSJ program, within the Philosophy Department at the University of Waterloo. We welcome all undergraduate students who are pursuing the GSJ major, minor, or diploma or are associated with the program in any fashion. We aim to provide a safe, inviting space for GSJ students, and those interested in feminist/social justice activism and philosophy, to find community, plan events, and engage in student advocacy, and become active within the program in a greater capacity.

Within the Society, we encourage all UWaterloo undergraduate students regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity/expression, romantic/sexual orientation, ability, and nationality to engage with GSJS events and services.  If you have any concerns regarding potential barriers to participation, or you would like to know more about what we do, please feel free to get in touch with us by emailing uwgsjsociety@gmail.com. We are also available on Instagram at uw_gsjs, and on Twitter at UW_GSJS.  We are always open to feedback.

For any additional questions, comments, and concerns, you may also email lmlindo@uwaterloo.ca
