You will be joined by fellow geographers, GIS specialists, environmental scientists, and other leaders for the latest in research and applications in geography, sustainability, and GIScience. The meeting will be held from Wednesday, April 7- Sunday, April 11, 2021, and will feature in-person and virtual aspects with over 6,900 presentations, posters, workshops, and field trips by leading scholars, experts, and researchers.
CAGONT 2020/2021: The next Annual Meeting of the Canadian Association of Geographers - Ontario Division was scheduled for October 2020 in London, ON. It has been postponed in the interest of public health and due to the uncertainty surrounding COVID-19. Throughout 2020, issues related to health equity have been brought to the foreground. While Global Health as a discipline has long been concerned with the social determinants of health and health inequities, it is also criticized for reproducing inequitable relations through neo-colonial practices.
