The 1818 Society Urban and Water Thematic Group (TG) presents “Cooperation on Transboundary Waters in Africa – The Nile Basin and Beyond”. Join their Webex presentation on November 17, 2022, from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm.
The presentation features speaker Anders Jägerskog (Ph.D.), Program Manager of the "Cooperation on International Waters in Africa" Trust Fund, Water Practice, World Bank and will be moderated by Ariel Dinar, former Lead Economist on Water and Climate Change at the World Bank and currently Distinguished Professor of Environmental Economics and Policy at the School of Public Policy, University of California, Riverside.
The 2023 Association of American Geographers (AAG) Annual Meeting will be held from March 23 to March 27, 2023. The event will be "hybrid", meaning that there will be opportunities for individuals to present and learn from the Annual Meeting in-person and online. The in-person activities will be held in Denver, Colorado.

The 17th World Congress on Public Health (WCPH) is held every two or three years and is hosted by the World Federation of Public Health Associations (WFPHA). In May 2023, it is expected that over 3000 delegates will convene in Rome, Italy for the Congress.
The theme of the 17th WCPH is " A World in Turmoil: Opportunities to Focus on the Public’s Health".
Abstract submissions open 01 September 2022 and are due 09 December 2022.

The CAG Annual Meeting 2023 will be hosted by The Department of Geography of the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) from May 8 to May 12, 2023. The theme of the Annual Meeting is "Anthropocene: Challenges for Geography and Geographers".

The International Geographical Union (IGU) Conference on Health, Environment and Sustainable Development: Changes, Challenges and Opportunities in a Post-Pandemic World will be held in Bucharest and Danube Delta, Romania, from June 13 to 16, 2023. The event will address critical issues related to health and healthcare, environmental changes and sustainable development after the COVID‐19 pandemic.
