We are proud to celebrate Alexa Bennett, recipient of the Amit & Meena Chakma Award for Exceptional Teaching by a Student (AETS) at the University of Waterloo. This highly respected award recognizes outstanding student instructors who demonstrate excellence in teaching, communication, and a strong commitment to student learning.
The AETS award is presented annually to up to four students who hold formal teaching roles, such as teaching assistants, laboratory demonstrators, or sessional lecturers. Recipients are selected based on intellectual rigor, clarity in presenting course material, and a deep sensitivity to the academic needs of students.
