The University of Waterloo has joined forces with University of Saskatchewan, Wilfrid Laurier University and McMaster University on a $144 million research initiative to find solutions that protect water quality and quantity across Canada and in the cold regions of the world.
Global Water Futures will drastically change the landscape of water management with improvements to forecasting and tools that enable preparation for and management of water issues in the future in the face of dramatically increasing climate change risks.
