The awards, scholarships and bursaries listed here have been made available through endowments and the generosity of various friends of Grebel. Students formally involved in the college's residence, associate and/or academic programs may apply for these awards, scholarships and bursaries.

A general designation applied to any scholarship, prize, medal, fellowship or grant of money assigned to a student.

Within this designation there are further terms defined as follows:

A monetary award, based primarily on outstanding overall academic performance or excellence in a specific subject or group of subjects.

A monetary grant based primarily on financial need.

Mennonite Diversity Award

This award is designed to make an educational experience at Conrad Grebel University College accessible to Mennonite students from culturally diverse backgrounds. The intention is to create a student body at the College that is more reflective of the cultural diversity of the present and future Mennonite Church in Canada.

MCEC logoThis award is founded by Mary Groh, who invites others with a passion for diversity in the Mennonite Church to contribute to this effort and to this award. Mennonite Church Eastern Canada is partnering to match these funds.

Eligibility and requirements:
Students in Grebel's residence program
Master of Theological Studies students
Master of Peace and Conflict Studies students

University of Waterloo Awards

As students of Waterloo, students of Conrad Grebel University College are also eligible for all scholarships, bursaries, prizes and financial aid programs that are offered by the University of Waterloo.
