Lisa CastleIn 2018, Lisa Castle established a consulting practice concentrated on strengthening organizations with their people, specializing in workplace strategies and practices. She has been engaged to conduct organizational reviews, bring forward strategies as well as solutions to problems, and support learning. She has worked with a number of public sector entities in Canada, and is currently providing advice to leading US and UK universities.

Lisa retired in December 2017 from her role as the University of British Columbia’s vice-president, Human Resources, holding the most senior Human Resources role at University of British Columbia since 2002. She had an integral role and responsibility to enhance the University’s ability to achieve its academic purposes with its people, and sustain a culture of mutual respect, positive relations, wellbeing and outstanding contribution.

Lisa has both her Bachelor of Arts and Law degrees.
