Joy Braga (she/they), Indigenous Relations Communications and Engagement Assistant
Joy is an undergraduate co-op student at the University of Waterloo. She is currently in her 4A term in Honours Health Studies (BSc) with a double minor in Psychology and Addictions, Mental Health, and Policy. She is non-Indigenous and of Filipino ancestry. As a co-op student, Joy has worked at the Registrar’s Office and Office of Research at the University of Waterloo.
As the Indigenous Relations Communications and Engagement Assistant, Joy supports the work of the Office of Indigenous Relations, which includes the planning and creation of written and visual communications (e.g., social media, infographics, articles, newsletters, website content); conducting research and environmental scans; and event planning.
