Responsibilities
The AI Innovation & Systems Development group is responsible for:
- Delivering IST’s AI Strategy and supporting responsible, risk-aligned AI practices
- Providing secure, scalable AI platforms and approved tools
- Supporting AI applications through guidance, enablement, and applied use cases
- Education and engagement to build campus capability and confidence
- Application and systems development, including the student portal
- Modernization, automation, and integration of institutional systems
- Establishing metrics to assess AI impact and guide continuous improvement
- Collaboration with campus partners to strengthen development standards
