- Takes effect July 1, 2014
- Applies to Commercial Electronic Messages (CEM): “A commercial electronic message is any electronic message that encourages participation in a commercial activity, regardless of whether there is an expectation of profit.”
Requirements for CEMs under the law
Some of the requirements are common sense, and you may be able to follow them even though your message is not a CEM.
They are required if your message is considered a commercial electronic message.
