Matt joined IST in 2026. His experience in higher education IT leadership spans central IT organizations and academic support units at the University of Waterloo, Toronto Metropolitan University, and Oxford Brookes University.
Matt’s background is in web design, and he has been a vocal advocate for web accessibility, and more broadly, user experience, throughout his career. In 2020, his work on User Experience Design in Learning (UXDL) was referenced in the Educause Horizon Report.
In his current role of Director, ASU IT Services, Matt is excited to help shape what he hopes will be generational IT transformation across the institution.
