We welcome virtual delegations

We are in the midst of a global pandemic, and our ability to welcome international delegations on to our campus is curtailed. Nevertheless, internationalization continues to be critical for us here at the University of Waterloo, and thus we would be delighted to explore how we could connect virtually. Indeed, while representatives, faculty, scholars, and postdoctoral fellows are unable to visit the University of Waterloo physically at this time, we continue to want to exchange ideas, explore research and academic opportunities, and connect with institutions of global significance. We welcome visiting virtual delegations from established and prospective partner institutions worldwide.

Visits with University-wide scope

Waterloo International is the central office providing co-ordination for visiting virtual delegations at a University level. High-profile representatives (such as ambassadors and consuls general), faculty, scholars, and postdoctoral fellows visit the University of Waterloo each year to exchange ideas, explore research and academic opportunities, and connect institutions of global significance. To help you experience a productive connection at Waterloo, we ask that you please complete our virtual delegation request form, providing as much detail as possible. We will respond to your request as soon as possible.

Targeted virtual visits

If you wish to visit a single faculty, academic department, research unit, or professional school, please contact the appropriate unit directly.
