International Relations Manager Visits Several Chinese Universities

Suping Zhao, International Relations Manager and Special Advisor-China, on an outbound delegation visit to China, met with representatives from several universities, which have active academic agreements or partnerships with the University of Waterloo. These institutions include: Shanghai Jiao Tong University, East China University of Science and Technology, and Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. Talks focused on reviewing existing collaborations and strategies for advancing shared goals for internationalization. While in Shanghai, Zhao also met with representatives from Fudan University to discuss the potential collaboration and a possible presidential visit to Waterloo in the upcoming year.
