Materials Interfaces Foundry (MIF) is founded by professor Yimin A. Wu. The lab focuses on research, design and advanced manufacturing of novel materials interfaces for energy, climate, and electronics.
Yimin A Wu, principle investigator of the Materials Interfaces Foundry, is an award-winning researcher in the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department at University of Waterloo and a member of the Waterloo Institute for Nanotechnology. Wu has authored and co-authored more than 40 peer-reviewed journal papers, which include: Nature, Nature Energy, Nature communications. Wu is also listed as an inventor on a US/international patent.
