The Medieval Studies Department is proud to present a lecture by Dr. Richard Greenfield from Queen's University. The lecture, which is open to the public, is titled Maxing the Sanctity: Asceticism, Miracle, and Authorial Enhancement in the Late Byzantine Lives of Maximos "the Hutburner" and features work from his forthcoming Dumbarton Oaks volume, The Holy Men of Mount Athos. The reception will begin at 4:30pm on February 5 at St. Jerome's University in room 3027 with the lecture to follow.
