The Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment is committed to the advancement of mental health research, providing accessible, effective mental health services to children, adolescents, adults and families in the Region of Waterloo, and to offering comprehensive, state-of-the-art clinical training to students in our Ph.D. program in Clinical Psychology.

The mental health services offered at the Centre for Mental Health Research and Treatment are evidence-based and of proven efficacy, reflecting current best-practice guidelines. Our students are trained to deliver effective services.

We are committed to working with other providers of mental health services and other mental health research centres locally, nationally, and internationally to advance the understanding and treatment of mental health problems.
