Dr. Kathy Smolewska

Dr. Kathy Smolewska is a registered psychologist with the College of Psychologists of Ontario in the areas of Clinical Psychology and Neuropsychology. She provides clinical psychological and neuropsychological assessment services to children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. She obtained her Master’s and Doctorate degrees in Clinical Psychology at the University of Waterloo, as well as more focused training in neuropsychology through practica at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health and the Toronto Rehabilitation Institute. She completed a Canadian Psychological Association (CPA)-accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship in Clinical Neuropsychology at Hamilton Health Sciences (HHS), where she worked with individuals across the lifespan. She completed her Supervised Practice at HHS, working in the Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Program, Integrated Stroke Program, and Pediatric Neuropsychology Service.

Following Supervised Practice, Dr. Smolewska held a position as a Neuropsychologist in different departments at HHS. These have included the Stroke Rehabilitation Unit, ABI Program, Epilepsy Monitoring Unit, and Neonatal Follow-Up Unit. She also held the role of Director of Training for the Neuropsychology Pre-doctoral Residency training program at HHS. Currently, Dr. Smolewska works in private practice in Waterloo, focusing on psychological and neuropsychological assessment across the lifespan.
