Brok Laschowski and Keaton Inkol awarded Waterloo Engineering Excellence PhD Fellowships

PhD students Brok Laschowski and Keaton Inkol were awarded the University of Waterloo Engineering Excellence PhD Fellowship, each valued at $120,000. Both students also hold national PhD scholarships with the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC). Keaton’s doctoral research focuses on model-based control of human and robot balance and Brok’s research focuses on visual perception and environment-adaptive control of robotic systems using deep learning.
