Biography Summary:

Mostafa Yacoub received his degrees from University of Ottawa, Canada and the Military technical College, Egypt. He worked as an Assistant Professor in the Automotive Engineering Department, Military Technical College, Egypt since 2013.

Dr. Mostafa Yacoub’s current research interests include modeling and control of vehicle following motion planner of autonomous vehicles, stability of electric vehicles during maneuvers and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for passenger cars.

Dr. Mostafa Yacoub serves as a co-chair and organizer in several conferences and as a reviewer in several journals and conferences including ASME IEDTC/CIE, JINT and SAE World Congress. He also co-founded the International Competition of the Unmanned Systems, held and hosted annually by the Military Technical College, Egypt. He also serves as a consultant in several national mega projects in Egypt related to automotive industry and warehouse automation.
