Call for Poster Presentations for NAR Symposium

Thursday, September 3, 2015

The Network for Aging Research (NAR) at the University of Waterloo is hosting the inaugural NAR Symposium on October 27, 2015 from 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. – providing a unique forum for students to network with faculty and present their aging-related research projects.

Undergraduate and graduate students are asked to submit a poster presentation abstract (up to 200 words) by the submission deadline: Monday, October 5 at 5:00 p.m.

Please download the Call for Poster Presentations (PDF) or read the information below:

The NAR poster session is intended to highlight posters that feature: proposals for future research; overview of research processes; or results of a student's project in an area of research related to aging. The poster session is open to all Symposium attendees. Student posters will be on display throughout the duration of the Symposium, and there will be a dedicated meet and greet time for conference attendees to view the posters.

Submission Process:

In order to submit a poster presentation abstract for consideration, please submit an abstract (up to 200 words) using the abstract submission webform, or email a fillable PDF submission form to Lisa Loiselle.

Please save the PDF first, and then open it in Adobe Reader before you fill in the text boxes. If you fill in the text boxes while viewing the document in your web browser, you cannot save your work.

There will be no cost to attend the NAR Symposium.
