What people are saying about SoAR
There's always something to learn, and interacting with students and experts in aging is quite productive.
It was so exciting and energizing for me to hear about all the strong student research being conducted focused on aging and later life here at the University of Waterloo. All the students I talked to at the forum spoke about how pleased they were to be involved and how much they appreciated the opportunity to meet other students and faculty from across campus interested in aging.
SoAR brought people together from across the University of Waterloo to discuss aging. Very interesting and very enjoyable!
Great networking opportunity to learn from fellow peers and how to ask critical questions
SoAR has proven itself as an event that not only showcases current aging research at the University of Waterloo, but also one that heightens awareness on potential areas for future research, and connects those with similar interests in service and teaching. Past attendees have seen this event as an opportunity to bring together diverse groups from across the University of Waterloo who are passionate and dedicated about aging research.
We look forward to continuing to engage with these communities, learning from one another and maximizing on our abilities and experiences to improve the ways in which knowledge is created and shared.
