By Media RelationsWATERLOO, Ont. (Tuesday, November 12, 2013) – Media are required to register in advance to attend the meeting of University of Waterloo Students For Life club on Thursday, November 14, 2013.
The club meeting will include a talk by Stephen Woodworth MP.
Prior registration for this ticket-only event is mandatory for all media outlets. To accredit, media must email Nick Manning and be prepared to provide photographic identification and media credentials before they enter the meeting.
Statement by Feridun Hamdullahpur, president and vice-chancellor of Waterloo:
“The University of Waterloo believes that ideas should be shared in an environment of tolerance and respect and that individuals have the right to advance their views openly.
“We have taken steps to create an environment where views can be shared at this meeting in a safe and productive environment. We expect all attendees to respect Waterloo’s values and the right to freedom of expression.”
