By University Relations StaffAs we head into the end-of-term break, I want to remind you that it is especially important to take care of yourselves and one another. The pandemic has presented many challenges and I urge you all to use this break for rest, reflection and rejuvenation. For anyone that needs it, Campus Wellness is running some sessions in January to help you manage anxiety, break free from low moods and strategies to thrive post-pandemic.
Our Waterloo community has demonstrated so much resilience during the past year. We have much to be proud of – and so much to look forward to. I hope this video sparks good memories of the past year and I wish you health, happiness and light for 2022.

A message from President Goel
The University of Waterloo acknowledges that much of our work takes place on the traditional territory of the Neutral, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee peoples. Our main campus is situated on the Haldimand Tract, the land granted to the Six Nations that includes six miles on each side of the Grand River. Our active work toward reconciliation takes place across our campuses through research, learning, teaching, and community building, and is co-ordinated within the Office of Indigenous Relations.
