The R+T Park and the Cora Group celebrated the arrival of the new tenants with a welcome breakfast.
"Having Stantec in 300 Hagey Blvd. is a great fit for Cora in that we share a common interest in being smart stewards of the environment,” said Adrian Conrad, chief operating officer of the Cora Group Inc. “Cora’s leadership in energy efficient buildings and sustainable construction practices appeals to world-class, progressive companies."
Moving from its previous location on Frederick Street in Kitchener, Stantec and its 340 employees now occupy space in the innoTECH building alongside the AC Reactor and Huawei.
“Our new, larger home will help facilitate our growth in the community and puts us in the heart of a huge talent pool,” said Kevin Fergin, P.Eng, Stantec’s Senior Principal and Sector Leader, Community Development – Canada East. “The innoTECH building is a perfect fit. Our expectation is to foster new relationships with other business partners in the David Johnston Research + Technology Park, while continuing a long standing relationship with the University of Waterloo.”
