The Examination Management System (EMS) may be used to upload and submit final examinations as well as midterms. There are differences, however, in the way final examinations are managed within the system.

Instructors who choose to have a final exam scheduled and administered by the Registrar’s Office (RO) have the option of having their exam printed and paid for by the RO. This requires submission by the specific exam deadline (which varies according to the date of the exam) and requires the instructor or designated proctors to pick up the printed exams from a secure location at least 30 minutes before the start of the exam.

Instructors may submit a final exam for printing via the EMS if a deadline has passed; however, their academic department will be billed for the cost and the instructor will be responsible for taking delivery of the exam papers and ensuring its safe arrival at the exam location at least 30 minutes prior to the start of the exam.

If a deadline is missed, the instructor must keep in mind that W Print will need at least a day or two to print their exam papers, depending on the number of papers required.
