Therapy Dogs
"Pet" your stress away by joining us for a therapeutic hour of interactive activity with sweet therapy dogs! It has been proven that spending time with dogs helps to enhance your mood, social skills, memory stimulation, and so much more! (And they're really cute!)
What can you expect?
- Dogs and their handlers will be available for the lunch hour
- Drop-in and spend some time snuggling some happy pups
- A nice break from your classes and the stress of the term; guaranteed to leave you in a better mood for the afternoon!

Drop-in Meditation with Chaplain Scott
Take some time to relax and re-center with a guided meditation by Chaplain Rev. Scott McLeod.
What can you expect?
- A simple breathing meditation (non-religious).
- A practice and tool to help calm the mind, sharpen focus, de-stress, and relax.
- An opportunity to learn and practice pausing and centering yourself when you need to.

Learn to Chill
Join Peer Leader Rubee and Chaplain Scott for an interactive workshop series to help you feel grounded each week. With a focus on gratitude, you will complete a series of workshops that introduce mindfulness practices and techniques.
What can you expect?
- Mini-lecture on each week's mindfulness practice content
- Interactive activities that allow you to practice gratitude and mindfulness
- A sense of community and gratitude at the end of each session

Meet and Greet Series is a recollection of clips from Renison's Virtual Student Meet and Greet events in which upper-year students at the University of Waterloo share their experience and advice to first-year students. In each episode, senior students share tips for success in different areas of university student life.
