Culture and Sustainability Fair Hosted by the ELI Student Leadership Team

The ELI Student Leadership Team has been hard at work planning a Culture and Sustainability Fair for International Education Week! Come out and show your support and learn all about sustainable initiatives from around the world!

  • Interactive booths hosted by students in BASE, GOALS, and EFAS
  • A chance to learn about the UN Sustainable Development Goals and global initiatives

Join Peer Leader Rubee and Chaplain Scott for an interactive workshop series to help you feel grounded each week. With a focus on gratitude, you will complete a series of workshops that introduce mindfulness practices and techniques.

Renison's Annual One Sky Festival is back for its 30th Anniversary! The Moose Hide Campaign is an Indigenous-led grassroots movement dedicated to ending gender-based violence. This nation-wide movement is to spark change in taking action to end violence in our communities. An important element of the Moose Hide Campaign is the visibility of the moose hide pin. Wearing a moose hide pin signifies a commitment to honour, respect, and protect the women and children in our lives and to speak out against gender-based and domestic violence. The pin is a symbol of connection, concern, and solidarity.

What can you expect?

  • A chance to learn about the Moose Hide Campaign and other Indigenous initiatives
  • Reflection and information regarding International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women
