Jing is currently pursuing her PhD in Civil Engineering under the supervision of Professor Haas. She completed her Engineering Management (major) and Computer Science and Technology (minor) bachelors at Jilin University in China. After that, she received his MSc in Architectural Computation (Distinction) from University College London in the United Kingdom in Winter 2021.

She is interested in applying computer vision and autonomous robotics for architectural design and construction. So, the focus of her current research is to automatically recognize, extract and reassemble building components as well as materials from 3D housing site models through computational design and AI technologies.
