Course Description

This graduate course involves graduate students in a participatory, seminar-style environment that critically examines key research in physical geography emphasizing the interdisciplinary nature of the science. Examples are used from each of the main research areas of physical geography (e.g., climatology, geomorphology, hydrology, biogeography, cryosphere, and remote sensing/GIS applications to these areas) and others directly relevant to individual student research interests are explored.
