University of Waterloo (UW) students are required to take the first and second year courses in the Academic Plans. Students interested in the following 2+2 programs should take as many of these courses as possible at their home institution. 2+2 students must make up any course deficiencies after arriving at UW.
Please note that the Materials and Nanosciences program is only available to students from Beijing Jiaotong University, Dalian University of Technology, Shandong Normal University, Ocean University of China, Tianjin University, Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Central China Normal University, Chang'an University, Northwest University, and Soochow University.
