Students interested in pursuing the minor should plan to declare the Biochemistry minor by their 2A term to allow sufficient time for course sequencing and prerequisite completion.

- Math Elective can be any course taught in the Faculty of Math (not including CS 100, MATH 103, MATH 104, MTHEL subject)
- Examples: Math 106, Math 114, Stat 202, CS 105, CS 115 (can be across ACTSC, AMATH, CO,CS, MATH, PMATH, STAT)
- MATH 128 is recommend for upper year 300-level CHEM courses
- Complete 2 of the following BIOL courses: BIOL 331, BIOL 354, BIOL 434, BIOL 439, BIOL 448
- Complete 2 of the following CHEM courses: CHEM 257, CHEM 430, CHEM 432, CHEM 433
