The Faculty of Science is pleased to announce that Professor Okey Igboeli will be our next Director in the Science and Business Program, effective July 1, 2021.
Okey joined the Faculty of Science in 2017 as a Lecturer in the Science and Business Program. He has a diverse background in both science and business. He received his DVM and MSc degrees at the University of Nigeria and his PhD and MBA from the University of Prince Edward Island. Okey is involved with entrepreneurial activities within the Faculty with the WatSolve Consulting Group, and is also a member of the Science Anti-racism Taskforce.
The Faculty would like to take this opportunity to thank Professor Jean Richardson for her service as Director of Science and Business for the past six years. She has dedicated much time and effort into improving the program and raising the profile, and her efforts are greatly appreciated.
