National Teach Spanish Day!

It is with great pride and appreciation that the Department of Spanish and Latin American Studies recognizes Professor Regina Vera Quinn as a student nominated Spanish instructor for National Teach Spanish Day on September 30, 2020. This event was launched by the American Associations of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP) and nominations obtained through Vista Higher Learning.

Congratulations Graduates!

We are excited to announce a new course being offered in Fall Term 2017.

ARTS 190: Cultural Identities Today explores some of the questions about the role that national/ethnic cultures play in determining our identity. Taught by Prof. Barbara Schmenk from Germanic and Slavic Studies, the course will be of interest to any student wishing to gain skills in analyzing how cultural background and affiliations influence personal identity.
