Regional Police Looking for Prowler

Waterloo Regional Police Service are looking for information from the public regarding reports of a prowler in the area of Hazel Street in Waterloo.

“On November 14, 2013 around midnight a male dressed in black was observed lurking in the bushes and looking through windows into residences in the Hazel Street Waterloo neighbourhood. Residents are asked to be diligent in reporting suspicious activity and individuals to police".

Waterloo Regional Police North Division detectives are appealing to the public for help identifying a female who may have information that could assist in an assault investigation.

Assault on Seagram Drive

At 3:01 AM, Saturday March 9th, 2013, a 20 year old Toronto man visiting Waterloo called police after being assaulted in the vicinity of UW Place, a student residential complex at 102 Seagram Drive, Waterloo.

The victim had attended the University Of Waterloo Tamil Association Formal at the St. George Banquet Hall in Waterloo.

The victim left the hall at approximately 1:40 AM with friends and shortly before 3:00 AM,  arrived at a student residence at or near UW Place on Seagram Drive.

Suspicious Person

Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate reports of suspicious activity involving an unidentified male in the university district of Waterloo.

The male is described as 30-40 years of age, with possibly tanned skin, bald or shaved head, approximately 6 feet tall with a muscular build.

Suspect in Recent Thefts at CIF and PAC

Suspect in thefts from lockers at PAC and CIF.

Campus Police are investigating the theft of a backpack from a locker in locker room at the PAC during the afternoon of Sat. Sept 22. It is believed this theft is related to several other thefts from lockers committed at the PAC and CIF during the last few weeks. 

Campus Police are attempting to identify the male in this photo and to speak with him related to his involvement in these thefts.
