At our 2026 Annual Meeting today, the UWSA’s Chief Returning Officer, Tara Campbell, announced the results of the 2026 Board of Directors and President elections.
Congratulations to Robbyn Hesch, Amanda Fogaca, and Audrey Kompter, who were elected to the UWSA Board of Directors. Voter turnout reached 44%, up from 36.7% in 2025 and 40.8% in 2024.
Members also confirmed Jessica Zimmerman as UWSA President, with 95.7% support. Turnout for the President election was 45%.
Thank you to everyone who participated by running for office, engaging with the election process, serving on our Elections Working Group, or casting a vote. Strong participation in this year's elections reflects staff's ongoing commitment to ensuring they have a voice in the decisions that affect their work and workplace.
