Award description:
Several awards are available annually to undergraduate students enrolled in Year Two, Three, or Four of the Global Business and Digital Arts program, the Arts and Business program, or students enrolled in the International Trade Minor within with Faculty of Arts who are pursuing an eligible international exchange/study abroad program or an eligible international co-op/work term. Candidates must be in good academic standing and have a demonstrated financial need for the term(s) abroad. These awards are limited to Canadian citizens and permanent residents who have lived in Ontario for the entire 12-month period prior to beginning their post-secondary education. Interested students are to apply to the UW International Experience Award program by the applicable pre-term deadline. This fund is made possible by a donation from the C. D. Howe Memorial Foundation to recognize Mr. Howe's significant contributions to Canada's economic prosperity.
Value description:
up to $2,500 each; several awards available annually
Eligibility & selection criteria:
- Year Two, Three, or Four of the Global Business and Digital Arts program, the Arts and Business program, or students enrolled in the International Trade Minor within with Faculty of Arts
- participating in an international work or study experience
- in good academic standing
- demonstrated financial need
- lived in Ontario for the entire 12-month period prior to beginning post-secondary education
