Summer Accommodations

Each spring term, Catering and Event Services offers summer accommodations on campus in our student residences. Staying at the University of Waterloo can be a wonderful experience. Centrally located, with an array of restaurants, hiking trails, and green space, this is a great place to call home for a night, a week, a month, or the whole summer! 

Whether you are attending a conference, visiting the University as a researcher, writing an exam, canoeing The Grand River, attending a special event in the Waterloo region, relocating to the University, or just passing through the city, Summer Accommodations at the University of Waterloo has a bed for you!

Group rates are available for conference delegates, sports teams, youth groups, conventions, and events. 

Available May through August, summer accommodations are offered in a traditional dormitory-style residence as well as 4-bedroom suites.

Visiting and New Scholar Accommodations

Catering and Event Services offers these short-term, temporary accommodations for visiting or new faculty, scholars, researchers, and postdocs associated with the University of Waterloo. Approximately a 5-minute walk to the University, Beacon Tower apartments are fully furnished and all-inclusive.
