Summer Accommodations Front Desk:Our Front Desk is open 7 days a week from 7:00am to 12:00am (including holidays). If you need immediate assistance between 12:00am and 7:00am, we have a staff person available on call. Did you forget something? Check with front desk to see if we have it! (Toothpaste, toothbrushes, shaving cream, razors, etc. for sale) |
Non-Smoking Policy:The University of Waterloo is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is not permitted within 30 feet (10 metres) of any building at any time. A fine of $150 will be applied to anyone found smoking in their guest room. |
Alcohol Consumption:Guests who are 19 years of age or older are permitted to consume alcohol in a responsible manner in the private sectors of the residence. Alcohol consumption is not permitted in the courtyard areas or in the central complex. |
Quiet Hours:For the convenience of all guests “Quiet Hours” are designated from 11:00pm to 7:00am. Please respect your neighbours. |
Internet:All guests have access to complimentary Wi-Fi for use on laptops, tablets, and smartphones. Please see Front Desk staff for login |
Pets and Animals:In compliance with the health and safety regulations for uWaterloo residence buildings, animals are not permitted in the guest rooms or common areas. |
Food Services:There are 24 different food service outlets around campus. |
Parking:Free parking is available for guests staying overnight at Ron Eydt Village in Lots “S” & “V”. Don’t forget to obtain a parking pass from the Front Desk upon arrival to avoid parking tickets or towing. Visitors are also allowed to park in Lots “S” or “V” with overflow parking available in Lot “J” and can purchase a parking pass through the “pay & display” machine in Lot “S” for $5.00/day. |
Fitness Centre:We have a Fitness Centre on the first floor of Ron Eydt Village in the North Quad (beside washrooms). To gain access to the gym between 7:00am & 12:00am, please sign out a gym pass at the Front Desk. Please note: there is a $10 replacement fee for any pass that is not returned upon check out. |
