Manager of Venture Projects at Transport Canada's Innovation Centre
Mark is the manager of Venture Projects at Transport Canada’s Innovation Centre. Mark can be
found working on a range of projects related to 21s century policy areas including modernization, innovation and digital government, and much of Mark's work involves emerging technologies. In Mark's role he oversees a team working on projects that involve drones, robotics, and artificial intelligence, often with start-ups and scale ups. Prior to joining Transport Canada, Mark held various research positions on economic and political affairs pertaining to innovation and technology including at the University of Toronto's Innovation Policy Lab, the Conference Board of Canada, UN-ESCAP, the Institute on Governance, IBM, the Canadian Transportation Agency and the Parliament of Canada.
