Money can be a difficult topic to think about. You’re taking a big step investing in yourself with this next degree — it's something to be proud of.

Now, let’s make a plan to tackle the tough stuff. These steps can help you figure out your finances:

1) Pay your tuition and fees before August 20

By August 20, you want to be showing as "Fees Arranged" on Quest to avoid a fees arranged extension fee.

2) Apply for funding

Did you know that there are over 400 awards, scholarships and bursaries for graduate studies at Waterloo? Browse the database – you have nothing to lose by applying.

3) Plan your budget

Try our online and interactive calculator tool to figure out a budget that will work for you. It’s not always fun to see the numbers, but understanding them can help you anticipate challenges.
