Homecoming returns to the University of Waterloo campus on Saturday, September 20, 2025! We hope you’ll join us to cheer on the Warriors football team and celebrate a community forged in black and gold.

Schedule

  • Faculty of Health Fun Run | 10 a.m. | Ring Road, outside BMH 

    • The annual Fun Run is back! Hosted by the Faculty of Health, and open to the entire UWaterloo community, participants are invited to complete a 2.5 km or 5 km journey around Ring Road and campus. Separate registration required.

  • Warrior Rec Yoga and Warrior Rec Spin (SOLD OUT) | 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. | CIF Field House and Parking Lot W
    • Join us on the indoor turf for a free morning session of yoga or in the parking lot for an outdoor spin class. Participants of all skill levels are welcome! 
  • Facility Tours | 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. | Parking Lot W
    • Relive memories in the spaces you loved and see what's new in our Athletics and Recreation facilities. 

  • Parking Lot Party | 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Parking Lot W
    • Join us before kickoff for live music, memorabilia from the UWaterloo archives and food trucks.
  • Warriors Football vs. Queens | 1 p.m. | Warrior Field
    • Watch the game from the comfort of the Alumni VIP Tent — an exclusive alumni experience in the Manulife Warriors Fan Zone.

*Existing ticketholders include those with single game tickets, a Black and Gold Alumni Pass and season tickets. A game ticket is required for access to the Alumni VIP Tent.

Single game tickets are available to purchase through University of Waterloo Athletics and Recreation, and do not include access to the Alumni VIP Tent area or the listed benefits above. 

Black and Gold Alumni Pass

Plan to attend more games? Save with the Black and Gold Alumni Pass! 

At a cost of only $20, the Black and Gold Alumni Pass gives you and a guest access to all exhibition and regular-season on-campus home games for the varsity sport of your choice. Passes are available for the following market-driven varsity sports: football, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s hockey and women’s hockey, and men’s and women’s volleyball. 

In addition, your pass gives you access to special Alumni Days for each of the other sports. Black and Gold Alumni Passholders can purchase an Alumni VIP Package for the Homecoming football game for $17.

Campus visitor emergency notification system

Each year, UWaterloo welcomes thousands of guests, including guest lecturers, politicians, toddlers in daycare, alumni, parents, contractors and co-op employers. To ensure their safety—along with the entire campus community—Regroup Mobile offers a temporary notification service. This allows visitors to receive any emergency notifications via SMS and email.
