New York-based Balyasny Asset Management (BAM), engaged with University of Waterloo co-op students at a fireside chat recently. On May 24, at the University of Waterloo’s Davis Centre, BAM hosted a fireside chat with one of their leaders in technology followed by a “Bubble Tea with BAM” networking session.
As long-time members of Co-operative and Experiential Education (CEE), Scott (BES ‘84, MA ‘88) and Linda (BA ‘81) Davis both know the importance of work-integrated learning at the University of Waterloo. As a testament to that importance, the Davises have committed $5,000 to the Co-op for Community program through the Co-operative and Experiential Education Fund.
Mary-Ellen Cullen and Steve Menich want to help build stronger communities in Waterloo Region. They have found an outlet for their passion to give back by funding co-op students jobs at non-profit organizations through their contributions to the University of Waterloo’s Co-op for Community fund.
