The Baylis Medtech Biomedical Stakeholder Café returned for a third year of connecting Capstone Design teams from across campus with leaders in the healthcare field.
At the event, organized by Dr. Jennifer Howcroft, associate professor of systems design engineering and Dr. Kate Mercer, liaison librarian and adjunct assistant professor, groups of students circulated for conversations with stakeholders, including clinicians, biomedical researchers, medical-technology entrepreneurs, rehabilitation specialists, and patient advocates. Their expertise offers real-world insights through sharing clinical and industry experiences and helping students strengthen the feasibility and impact of their design concepts.
The next Baylis Medtech Biomedical Stakeholder Café will be held in Fall 2026.
