As with all engineering undergraduate programs in Canada, the Biomedical Engineering program is subject to an accreditation process, administered by Engineers Canada through the Canadian Engineering Accreditation Board (CEAB).
The Biomedical Engineering program was recently reviewed by CEAB and received successful accreditation in June 2019, confirming that the program meets the high standard of education required for graduates to be licensed as Professional Engineers. We are proud to say that the BME program received a 3-year accreditation, the maximum time for a new engineering program.
