About the Physical Health Team

The Physical Health Team encourages healthy eating, sleep, and active lifestyles among students. The goal of the team is to improve campus wellness by providing students with the tools and knowledge to make healthy choices. The team continuously strives to reach out to the student community through hands-on activities and healthy giveaways. Throughout the school year, team members plan, develop, and implement a variety of events and display booths on campus to promote various topics.

Events that support student wellness

The Physical Health Team runs events including Let’s Taco-bout Food and Take the Stairs at the Dana Porter Library to encourage students to take the stairs rather than the elevator to promote heart health. You’ll also find us near the bike racks talking about bike safety. Students can find the Physical Health Team each week as they set up booths around campus. Stay tuned to @UWHealthyU for more events!
