Lindy Bancroft (she/her)

Hi there, I’m Lindy. I use the pronouns she/her and I am the Career Programming and Events Specialist at the CCD. I coordinate programming, events and workshops on all things related to careers.

I began working in the field of career development during a summer job at the end of my undergrad where I supported high school students in securing their first job. I then went on to work in the not-for-profit sector supporting young folks meet their career goals for five years. I have a passion for creating programming and events that meets the needs of students, and I’m always happy to chat about how we can improve our programming and events and/or any ideas students have.

Outside of work you will find me sipping on a cup of tea (likely Earl Grey), and crafting while watching TV or movies. I also like to explore new places, and try new restaurants with friends.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Welfare and Social Development from Nipissing University and a Masters of Arts in Social Justice and Community Engagement from Wilfrid Laurier University.
