The Centre for Career Development (CCD) and other campus supports empower students to dream big and imagine how further education can transform their future and shape a meaningful career.

Imagine you have a technical interview coming up for a role you're genuinely excited about but don't have a sense of what to expect. For many students, this scenario is all too real. Employers use technical interviews to assess problem-solving and coding skills. However, many students don’t know what to expect in these technical interviews or how to prepare for them.

Today, many careers in mental health extend beyond counselling offices and clinics. Mental health careers span a wide range of industries and professions. 

The Centre for Career Development and the Tatham Centre will be closed from 12 p.m. onwards on April 28, 2025 for a staff meeting.

CareerHub may be down at times over the course of 24 hours, starting at 12 a.m. on February 17, 2025. 

The Centre for Career Development is offering all services and events virtually on February 13, 2025 due to the University of Waterloo school closure. You can connect with us virtually through our live chat between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. or via email: careers@uwaterloo.ca. 

Career Leader drop-ins in the Dana Porter Library from 5-7 p.m. this evening are cancelled. Find more information on appointments and drop-ins. 

WaterlooWorks and appointment bookings will be unavailable on Monday August 19, 2024 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Career leader drop-in appointments will be available on Monday August 19, 2024 from 4 -5 p.m. and 6 - 7 p.m. Regular hours resume on Tuesday August 20. 

Co-op consults are being paused from 9:30 - 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 17, 2024.
