Navigating what's next with your arts degree

If the future looks foggy, you're not alone! This 90-minute workshop is designed to support Arts students begin their post-graduation journey. In this workshop you will: 

  • Ideate and map possibilities for your future 
  • Learn ways to test ideas e.g. networking,   
  • Get support to start your journey! 

Let's explore and unlock the full potential of your Arts degree together. As a bonus, you can sign up for career planning support at the end of the workshop to get connected to a career advisor.  
 
Note: This session is restricted to students in the Faculty of Arts and is recommended for those who are in the final two years of their program.

FREE Headshots (Jul 23, 2024)

***Pre-booked timeslots have been filled. We are still taking walk-ins during the event on a first come first-served basis***

CCD and EDGE are offering FREE headshots. It will take place on July 23, 2024 in the Tatham Centre (TC) on the main floor by the stairs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Please select a 10-minute timeslot for your headshot and arrive 5 minutes early on the day of the event. We will also be offering walk-in appointments on a first-come first-served basis after booked appointments. So booking a timeslot ensures that you will get your photos taken at the time you have indicated. 

Please register and pick your timeslot on the booking form. You will receive a confirmation email after you register and a reminder email 1 day before the event. Within 14 days after the event, you will receive 3 images with no edits made along with information on how to edit the photos should you choose. There will be four appointments available for each 10-minute timeslot.

Co-op Connection Board Game Mixer

Secured a co-op position and now feeling “what comes next”? We understand that as co-op students, heading to a new job and new location can feel confusing and isolating.

Co-op Connection is hosting a board game mixer for all co-op students on a work term Fall 2024 wanting to mingle and casually meet friends. Tatham Centre (TC) is turning into a Board Game Café July 25, from 5:30 – 7:00pm. Bring your friends and fill out the form to let us know you are coming - join us for a chill night of board games and meeting new friends in your region!

Building connections is valuable and going into co-op with those connections can help you feel supported and create that work-life balance in a new environment!
