There will also be time to answer any questions you have about job fairs, networking, and LinkedIn.

Job applications can be daunting. Writing cover letters don't have to be. This workshop will build your confidence as we dissect how to write cover letters.

You are invited to the largest job fair of its kind in the country!

Partnerships for Employment (P4E) is a partnership between the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, University of Guelph and Conestoga College. P4E hosts a Job Fair each fall and winter. This fair will have over 100 employers in attendance. To attend the fair, please register on Portal, ride the shuttle bus to Bingemans, and bring your WATcard and copies of your resume. 

Wondering how to prepare for P4E, start a conversation with an employer, or how to follow-up after the fair? Attend the Preparing for the P4E Job Fair workshops on September 16 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. OR September 17th from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. You can register for these workshops on the Career Centre Events calendar on WaterlooWorks or Portal.

Preparing for interviews? This workshop will support your career journey as we build your confidence, by providing strategies for sharing your qualities and reducing interview anxiety.

Applying to teacher’s college this December? Not sure where to start or what to expect? Maybe you have questions about programs, admission requirements, grades, or how to make your experiences stand out.

This workshop is for you.

By the end of this workshop, you’ll be able to:

- Explore the different teacher’s college programs available in Ontario
- Identify and interpret admission requirements, particularly grade requirements
- Articulate your relevant experiences and connect them to your application
- Develop a clear plan of action to prepare for your application

Are you thinking of becoming a teacher? Or currently applying to B.Ed programs? In this workshop, we will explore teaching divisions, teachables and eligibility, the application process, and more. 

Are you exploring what's next after your graduate studies or postdoc experience? Through discussion and reflection activities, this session will increase your understanding of the career-decision making process and how to plan for multiple potential career paths. We will also explore resources and networking options to gather information about careers that would suit your interests and skills.
