Join EDGE and CCD for the Fall 2025 Volunteer Fair! 

This event offers students an opportunity to meet local organizations that are recruiting volunteers.  

Representatives from local organizations will be present to speak with current students about their organization's mission and volunteering needs. 

Volunteering is a great way to develop skills and gain experiences that can be showcased on a résumé and discussed in an interview. For those looking to give back to the community, it is a fulfilling way to contribute to local causes. It also provides an excellent opportunity for networking. 

This is an in-person event in the SLC Great Hall and no registration is required. If you have any questions about this event please email careers@uwaterloo.ca

In this workshop we will cover tips for job fairs, including how to prepare, what to do during the event and how to follow up with employers after the event. We will discuss how to update your LinkedIn profile to be more enticing to prospective employers and how to create your personal brand, from your social media presence to your elevator pitch. There will also be time to answer any questions you have about job fairs, networking, and LinkedIn.
